Windfeed is a news and RSS reader for iPhone, iPad and Mac, made by codefoundry limited. In short: we don't collect any data about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
What stays on your device
Your sources, folders, read and favorite marks, muted words and settings are stored on your device. The Today briefing is summarized on your device with Apple Intelligence; your stories are not sent to us or to any AI service.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Windfeed keeps your library in step across your devices through your own private iCloud database. That data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account. We cannot see it. You can turn this off in your device's iCloud settings.
Connections the app makes
To show you news, Windfeed downloads feeds, articles and images directly from the websites you follow, such as a newspaper or a YouTube channel. Like any web request, those websites can see your IP address and that a feed was requested. Their own privacy policies apply. Links you open go to your web browser.
Purchases
Windfeed Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or your name.
Notifications
The morning notification is scheduled on your device. No notification server is involved.
Children
Windfeed does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
